Dan Monick

Minneapolis-born Musician, Director & Photographer Dan Monick has been working and living in Los Angeles for more than 20 years. Dan’s work is raw, moving and emotive with a bit of a nostalgic aesthetic. After time spent playing in bands he started shooting photos for Minneapolis acts like Atmosphere and Dillinger Four. Being a photographer with a background in music simply adds perspective which is seen in his work with artists such as: Kendrick Lamar, JAMESDAVIS, Adam Levine and Starcrawler, to name a few. Monick also co-founded Cash Machine, an artist run publisher in Atwater Village, CA. Monick has exhibited at: These Days, Little Bird, Commune (Tokyo), Subliminal Projects, VOILLD (Tokyo), Space 15 Twenty and Soo Visual Arts Center amongst others.
